2025 Christmas Show “A Children’s Christmas”

We are excited to announce that our 2024 Christmas Show "Holiday Magic" will be coming to Downtown Cambridge, at the Scottish Rite Auditorium December 7th & 8th. Directed By: Kathryn Antill Accompanist: Tom Apel   December 7th & 8th  at 3:00 PM Admission: $10.00 Presale/$12.00 at the door | $5.00 for anyone 12 & under   Presale tickets are available for purchase at Black Cat Vintage or any Cambridge Singers member.  

New member auditions   Thanks to everyone that attended The Cambridge Singers “Holiday Magic” Christmas Show this weekend. We had absolutely wonderful audiences!   For anyone who would like to join our great group, we are “Calling All Singers!” We will be holding open auditions as we kick off rehearsals for our spring show “We’ve Got Style”.   Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Jan 7th & Tuesday Jan 14th at the Cambridge Presbyterian Church at 725 Steubenville Avenue.   Rehearsals run from 7:00-9:00 pm   For more information, please contact Director Kathy Antill at antillkathy@gmail.com

Patron Drive Kickoff!! Come support our group!! The Cambridge Singers is kicking off our annual Patron Drive on Tuesday, Feb 4th.   Many of you may already be a patron (thank you for your support) & will be contacted by one of our members soon to renew for 2025. For those of you seeing this that aren’t currently patrons, you can contact any of our current members & they’ll be glad to help you. For those that are not acquainted with any of our members & would like to help support Singers & become a Patron, please contact Pam Thompson, pamelathompson@roadrunner.com. Attached below is the application for our annual college scholarship. Applicants shall be of Sophomore standing or above as of their next school term, be a declared music major, and be a current or former resident of the Guernsey County area. Proof of declared music major is required from college registrar or faculty music professor. Winner will be selected by The Cambridge Singers Scholarship Committee and announced at The Cambridge Singers presentation of “We’ve Got Style” at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in downtown Cambridge, Ohio May 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2025. CAMBRIDGE SINGERS ACCEPTING RIGEL AWARD NOMINATIONS Each year prior to The Singers Spring Show, the group accepts nominees for the Rigel Award. This award originated in 1988 to honor Everett “Red” and Mary Ann Rigel who were members of The Cambridge Singers for many, many years. Due to their outstanding dedication to The Singers and their musical support to the community, the award is presented annually in their honor to those who have contributed to the promotion of music and the musical quality of life in Guernsey County/or surrounding counties.  Nominations can be made based on the following guidelines: the recipient need not be a current resident of Cambridge or Guernsey County, but his/her musical contribution must have directly impacted Guernsey County or surrounding counties. The recipient’s area of contribution can be either vocal or instrumental performance, music education, or music composition. An individual or a group can be a recipient, with no age limit applied, and past or present affiliation with The Singers is not a needed qualifier.
